We’ve been planning weddings all over the world with our company Firefly Events, for the past 10 years. Funny story- the first Firefly wedding client came to us through a Craigslist  ad, and we charged a fee that was pretty close to $1. Pretty classy! After years of hustling and growing our business, we’ve had the honor of being named top planners by Vogue Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Martha Stewart and The Knot, as well as getting to work with some of the best in the biz. We’ve also experienced the burnout and growing pains that come with such a high stakes and highly customized industry, leading us to come to some surprising conclusions about how to work with clients in a personal way, without feeling depleted!

To be honest, we’ve made our share of mistakes along the way. While these may have felt like catastrophes at the time, each one has helped us to perfect solid systems for planning multiple wedding from start to finish, without feeling paralyzed by the dreaded overwhelm. Oh, and we finally made the mindset shifts needed to put profit first in our business. None of these things came quickly to us, and there are a ton of things we wish someone would have told us along the way! That’s why we’ve  created The Firefly Method for Planners. Inside our program, THE WEDDING PLANNER’S HANDBOOK, we’ll be walking you through every step of our planning process as well as how we deal with clients on a daily basis, from attracting the right ones to managing expectations, and everything in between. We’re so excited to offer the guidance and experience to planners that we wish we had had, and hopefully build a  strong, supportive community along the way!
